Tuesday Tidbits – Festive Fun for Manchestermas!

Manchester Christmas markets

Hey fabulous people!

I am so sorry I have been off the grid for a while. My day job at the studio and a puppy have eaten up most of my time. So this is a great big fat humble apology from me for being a bit of a rubbish blogger of late.

To report, I have had 2 beautiful save the date cards in the post for weddings in the New Year (how exciting is that?), Grimlock has learnt how to sit on command (I know it’s only a small thing but this pleases me immensely) and I have finished (YES finished) my Christmas shopping. Whoop! I have even wrapped all the presents… although I do have to brave the post office tomorrow to post some. Wish me luck?

So Christmas has officially begun for me. My sister and our friend Sam traversed the country to spend the weekend with us in Manchester. This is a Christmas tradition and marks the beginning of the festive season. There is always copious amounts of pig product eaten – bacon sarnies, german sausage , hog roast….. mmmmm……. oops I’m dribbling on the keyboard:) Then there is gluwhein galore and every Christmas film we can think of. This is the first year that Neddy Bear and Mister Grimlock have partaken of this festive treat and they are both well and truly worn out by being surrounded by females.

All I can say is that it was a great weekend.

I’d love to hear from you guys about your festive traditions. I have so many that everyone who knows them laughs.  I really am a Christmas lover. Leave me a comment about what makes you feel festive.

So it is the time of year that i spend way too long trawling the internet for Christmas presents ans along the way I have found some amazing things that I am refraining from purchasing such as this

Faux fox Stole.

Among my trawling I have also found some fabulous diy treats for you guys and gals

Fabulous ornamoents courtesy of Boho bride.

OK I am putting this out there. I LOVE giftwrapping presents. I get a little obsessed and go overboard. So these ideas are fab

And who doesn’t love a cupcake case flower on a gift?

While if you love creating fabulous food this may be right up your street this yuletide

Also out there on the web I have read some lovely relationship articles.

Marriage Mantras. This one is courtesy of the Fabulous RockNRoll Bride and is part of a series I suggest that you read all of. They are being typed out this afternoon and pinned to the fridge. It is a great reminder to never take the one you love for granted and to remember to show them that you care every single day.
